From Atlantic City to Atlantic Anywhere
The Tropicana casino resort has been a mainstay on the Atlantic City boardwalk since 1981. With over 2,000 rooms it is one of the largest hotels found in the area and with more than 3,000 slot machines and 135 tables it is a paradise for any gambler.
With federal law now easing in New Jersey, online casinos are slowly becoming legitimised, so it comes as little surprise that the Tropicana has branched out into the online world. Luckily for us, their online casino is every bit as good as their land-based Atlantic City resort.
Homepage
Just like any land-based casino, Tropicana’s homepage strives to point you in the right direction, whether that be table games, slots, promotions or daily free spins. Whatever your gambling need, you will be able to find the required location from the homepage.
Slots
Any casino knows that the slots are their bread and butter. They are the most popular game and therefore need to be provided extensively, something that Tropicana do very well. All in all, there are more than 50 slots for you to play.
Tropicana use an interactive interface for their slot sections. The games, which are shown in a tile format, are extremely easy to start playing. Simply move your curser over the tile that interests you most and you will be greeted by the option to play for both real and pretend money, as well as giving you a chance to find out more about the game.
In the top left corner you will find the Community Jackpot. Here, the prizes are $10,000 for gold, $5,000 for silver, $1,000 for bronze and $500 for green. In order to have a chance of winning the community jackpot all you need to do is play one of the games for real money and keep an eye out for a special key that appears in the bar above the game. If you see the key, click on it and from there you will see whether or not you have won a prize.
Casino
The casino follows in the same interactive tile interface that is used with the slots. You will also again see a link to the community jackpot in the top left.
With 69 games in total, it is highly unlikely that you will be left disappointed. The games range from the staples like blackjack, roulette and baccarat to newer games such as Monopoly, Wild Rodeo and Rocket Man. Variants of both blackjack and roulette can be found in the casino section.
Promotions
The promotions run by Tropicana are very enticing indeed and change on a constant basis. One week you may be in with a chance of winning a trip to the Atlantic City resort, and the next you could be in with a chance of winning a cash prize.
For the high rollers it may be of interest checking out their VIP promotion.
Deposit and withdrawal
Tropicana Casino suggests using Instant e-cheque or an online bank transfer as the easiest and quickest way of depositing cash into your account. However, they also accept Visa and Mastercard should that be more favourable. Deposits can be made 24 hours a day.
You can withdraw your cash via ACH, cheque or at the Cage of the Tropicana Resort in New Jersey. You cannot, however, withdraw funds to your card; instead you have to use an ACH bank transfer.
Help
With an extensive FAQ section it seems unlikely that you will ever need to contact Tropicana, but if you do they are contactable via telephone or via the live chat feature that they offer on their website.
